Spring at the Willows

Spring sunshine has burst through the April showers and we have made the most of it with lots of weeding, a first cut of the lawn, and laying new wood chip on the paths.

In the polytunnel all the seeds are springing into life, including sunflowers, sweet peas, calendulas and beans, and the first slug of 2017 has been located and removed from the premises!

We spruced up the Willows sign with a fresh lick of paint and have been busy making hand stencilled cards and painted eggs for Easter, and painting horse shoes.

The bird table has been busy with blue tits, great tits and our dear robin.
