The Willows Project has collaborated with Foundry Wood under a Warwickshire Wildlife Trust scheme to run a summer program working with young/teen mothers connected to local children’s centers and residential homes. The program is designed to ask ‘what can nature do for you?’ promoting healthy eating and enjoying being in nature. Last week we enjoyed a session in the sunshine making elderflower cordial, vegetable and halloumi kebabs and popcorn on the fire. The children enjoyed letting off steam in the farm play area not to mention discovering the local wildlife…! We’re looking forward to the next one on 17th July.
